Why do you have to input a visual code at the end of making an account?

you know when you create an account on some websites like Yahoo! for instance? At the end of filling out your name, security questions, etc, theirs a box with a random code like "J6ynV8" or somethin. What's the point of retyping that little code in order to fully create an account?

Okay. What I think is happening is that your dog is very protective over you and your family because it's her teroitry and she knows that the people living right next door to her are are from a different teroitry. I think you need to introduce your pup into your neighbors yard on a leash and around the black kids, make sure this is a slow process. My point is make sure your pup is comfortable and is fully introduced to these people. Once she's in there yard and knows the smell she wil click and understand that there's nothing to worry about.

My boyfriend completely changed after he took his new job out of town. He started pushing me away and stopped coming home to visit.We had plans to one day get married and even knew the street we were going to live on. The way I handle it is to smile and say "Thank you for the advice, sister" etc. Really, if you're very polite and lead by example, since you're a revert and behaving better it may give them the help to behave better. Microsoft word problem - how to rectify text squashing into one side of the page?

Sufering without my boyfriend. Help!?

I have been with my boyfriend for over 4 years. I am 30 and he is 34. It's a long story, but we lead different lives. I used to always go there every weekend and I got used to that routine and used to always being with him and love being with him. He lives with his mom for reasons he kind of can't help. But we always argued alot. He gets mad at almost everything under the sun. Tends to be controlling and things usually always are his way. He is a very good person at heart and we have soo many memories together. We have gotten into fights before and went 3 weeks at most without talking. Then when we see each other again, we are so in love and missed each other so badly. He always told me we are meant to be together and are alike in tons of ways. But because of his ways and because he doesnt even bother with my mom or my friend's, I always knew it would never work. So anyways, we got into another fight June 1st and we haven't spoken since then. It's almost been a month, the longest. And I think about him all day, in my sleep, at work, everywhere. I wonder what he is doing and where he goes. It bothers me really bad. I know it's killing him really bad being without me too. It's always a game of waiting to see who will contact who first. But I know, if we get back together, it will be great for about 2 weeks and then everything will revert back to the way it was. But the 4th of July is coming up and we always spent it together every year. I really want to be strong and not contact him, but when the 4th gets here, I know it will bother the hell out of me. Should I start approaching white girls? Or should I continuously stick to my own race?

The thing is, I'm a 24 year old Indian guy who has never kissed a girl yet but my whole life I've only cared to approach girls of my own race, Indian or Paki girls. I know that there are racist people in the world however why call 'racist' just because someone didn't vote for him. I think that people who aren't white need to stop playing the racist card, and work at moving towards the unity that we all seem to be striving for. I grew up with black kids, my neighbours were black and we treated them no differently. My brother and I used to go play at their house, eat their food, invite them to our parties. We didn't even realise what racism was until we got closer to adulthood. If my brother pushed Sebastian the black kid over in the playground, it was because they were kids being normal kids, not because my brother was picking on the black kid. Sebastian's family never played the race card, and there were never issues between us.

Please Help with Lsass.exe application error! Nothing works!?

Hello, I tried to boot up my laptop today and got this "lsass.exe application error - The application failed to initialize properly (0Xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application." I am pretty sure it is the Lsass.exe error and not the isass.exe error, but I am not 100%, the lowercase L and capital i seem the same to me. Anyway, I tried booting in Safe Mode, in Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and tried opening Task Manager like every other answer on this site and Google said to. However, I cannot even get to Task Manager! All my laptop does it pop up the error and revert back to the old original windows background from when I bought the computer (not even my current desktop image), The screen is like this for hours! Ctrl+ALT+DEL does not work, CTRL+Shfit+Esc does not work. I do not know how to run a registry cleaner or antivirus from my USB drive or SD Card without the start program! I do not even know how to run them from Task Manager. I cannot even GET to Task Manager! I tried putting a registry cleaner into my USB drive, but how do I load my USB drive from nothing? How do I even load it from Task Manager? (assuming I can even get Task Manager to ever work again). I cannot load the Windowx CD because it is a LAPTOP and has NO CD PORT! Please help! I've been to YouTube, Google, Yahoo answers, Microsoft.com, nothing helps! Nothing covers my error.

Missing Islamic Prayers?

Reverting to Islam almost 10 years ago, I've found it difficult to practice my religion and have always slacked in making my salats. I was the only revert in my home, but I pursued Islam wholeheartedly. I loved Islam. Today I have to hide from my family that I still believe in Islam. My family believes Muslims= Terrorists. When I do pray, I quietly bring my children into my bedroom and make salat with them. This becomes burdensome to hide my beliefs from the rest of my family( mother, brothers, uncles and aunts). Still, when I miss one salat, then I miss two and pretty soon I'm not praying at all or going to the masjid. I start to live the life of an unbeliever. Still I have so much guilt for not living the life of a good Muslim. I've lost touch with my Muslim brothers. I fear their judgement and so I stay away from the masjid. Right now it is financially impossible for me to move out of my family's home and closer to a Muslim neighborhood. Moving to a Muslim neighborhood I think is my solution. Any suggestions or has anyone else been through this?

However let's look at the worst case scenario, they decide to run 6 miles and you can't run that far. Come up with a workable plan for that. For example, let's say they are running 3 miles in one direction and then they turn around and run 3 back. OK, run with them for 2.5 miles and wait for them to come back and then return to the starting point with them or run 2.75 and wait for them to come back. Look for a solution that lets you run a distance you are comfortable with physically and you will gain the confidence to do longer runs mentally. Good luck!

The best thing I could think of, would be to have my lawyer there with me and I would demand that I be allowed to remain in the house while they search in order to record it on camera. Because legally, if they have a search warrant, you can't stop from coming in. What would you do?

My husband and I purchased a netgear router, which no longer is covered by warranty (so calling the tech support is out, since they charge...) and I need to log into it to change some settings around. To answer your question, I believe the answer is pretty complex but I'll try and give a short version. I believe its because of the environment we are raised in. It's because of what we see on tv and what we are influenced by. Its also because of the lack of fathers and the lack of good role models therefore causing teens (not just blacks) to seek out other role models and fathers through gangs and other activities. Not to mention the peer pressure in school and being made fun of or beat up for trying to learn something and trying to be smart. There's a lot to it. The only way they can be better is to be taken out of that environment and taught better.

I have been with my boyfriend for over 4 years. I am 30 and he is 34. It's a long story, but we lead different lives. I used to always go there every weekend and I got used to that routine and used to always being with him and love being with him. He lives with his mom for reasons he kind of can't help. My mouse pointer changes when I roll the wheel.?

I've got Windows 7 Ultimate. My mouse pointer is normally aero_arrow, but when I roll the wheel, it becomes erm.. well, i can't find it in C:\Windows\Cursors so I don't know what it's called, but it shouldn't change, right? I even changed the mouse properties, and it reverts whenever I do, but it still changes back to THAT pointer when I roll the mouse wheel. How do I fix this?

so i have windows vista right now and it stopped being able to update. that's when i found out it cant authenticate my license. i have a valid license but i let someone borrow the disk with the code on it and never got it back so i cant retype it or reinstall it. so the real question is can i buy the windows 7 upgrade if it considers the license not to be valid or will i have to buy the full windows 7 system? i can provide more info if needed

ok, i'm not sure if i am going to word this right but, i have the open office word processor, and when i typed a sentence, and wanted to add some thing else in the middle of the sentence, i placed the curser in the appropriate spot, and when i started to type i noticed that the letter after the one i just typed was deleted, and obviously this continued to happen causing me to have to retype the entire sentence. i know that originally it did not do this so it was something that i did, which changed it, and i dont know how to change it back. so obviously my question is how do i change it back? any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Why does my daughter cry when dropping off at Montessori?

She has been attending daycare/Montessori since she was 12 months old and stopped crying at drop-off after the first month or so. In fact, she was very happy and excited at drop-off for the past few months. She is now 16 months old and has started crying at drop-off again. There has been no change in the teachers at the Montessori. She attends 3 days/week and is happy while she is there. She stops crying within minutes of me leaving and is happily engaged in activity during the day. Why has she reverted back to crying at drop-off after doing so well the past few months?
