Ex girlfriend help..?

My ex girlfriend (white) broke up with me about a month ago because her racist dad came home one night (drunk at the time) and told her that if she ever dated a black guy, he would cut off her college tuition for the fall. We kept our relationship a secret from him for a few months and everything was going great, but I guess him saying that scared her away from what we had. Since then I've kept my space from her, but now I'm thinking of talking to her again. Do you think she would be willing to try again, and what do you think she could tell her father that would make him a bit more open to the idea of his daughter dating outside of her race?
